Sprint star expected to be back on track to compete at the Ostrava Golden Spike meeting

Usain Bolt will return to competition at the Ostrava Golden Spike meeting on June 17 having been sidelined with a foot injury, Agence France-Presse reports.

According to L’Equipe, the triple Olympic and world champion has been receiving treatment for an inflamed foot in Munich.

His agent Ricky Simms is also said to have confirmed that Bolt will race in Paris on July 5 and Malmo on August 5 and return to training next week.

If Bolt does compete in Ostrava as planned it will be the seventh time he has raced at the event, having run the 100m there three times, the 200m twice and the 300m once.

In 2013 Bolt added world 100m, 200m and 4x100m golds to the three Olympic titles he claimed over the same distances in London the year before.
