British 200m champion after what he describes as “easily the best run” of his career

Danny Talbot described his performance in the 200m final of the Sainsbury’s British Championships on Saturday as “easily the best run” of his career, as he clocked 20.42 to win with relative ease as Adam Gemili – a world finalist in 2013 – came off the bend in third and surged past James Ellington for silver.

The Birchfield athlete fired a warning ahead of both the Commonwealth Games and European Championships where he hopes to be competitive and challenge for medals.
