Fitbit – Ionic

Not sure what to get the athletics fans in your life this Christmas? Check out this gift idea

Fitbit’s products are designed to “fit seamlessly into your life” so users can achieve their health and fitness goals. Following on from the brand’s previous popular trackers such as Charge 2 and Blaze, the Ionic is Fitbit’s first smartwatch and aims to offer a highly personalised experience not previously seen in other smartwatches.

While some may prefer to use a watch to solely track their runs, the Ionic is a great option for those who want to monitor more than just their miles and incorporate the device into their life.

As well as featuring GPS tracking and heart rate technology, the device automatically tracks steps, calories, floors climbed and sleep stages. It can record other activities such as rides and swims, has personal coaching options and a multi-day battery life.

Smart features include contactless payments using Fitbit Pay, music when paired with wireless headphones such as the new Fitbit Flyer and notifications from your phone, with the Ionic cross-platform compatible.

The watch is lightweight, with its ergonomic design created to be comfortable enough to wear “all day and night”.

The straps are interchangeable and the durable screen uses Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for toughness and damage resistance.

It’s a great fitness monitor and motivational tool for the athlete that demands the latest in tech!
