That's a good little site. Saw the US Team one, so glad someone did a GBR one too.

I scored 79 - mainly missing marathon runners and relay alternates - but was frantically typing at the end trying to remember how to spell TBO's surname!

McConnell, Ohuruogu, Aikines-Aryeetey
Turns out it is Dwain which I didn't know
It annoys me that you have to write full names for some but shortenings for others:
jenny meadows
dai greene
william sharman

I just tried this & got 76, I was halfway through typing Sophie Hitchon when time ran out!

Missed Sophie Hitchon, womens marathoners, Porter, Parker, Clitheroe, Kwakye, Okyere, Myerscough.

Didn't make sense at first but you get 2 points for a relay runner(Kwakye & Porter).

Bloody tiny keyboard!

You get two points if they're in two events - e.g Mo :D

I took the names off the UKA website as they should have the correctly spelled official names for each athlete. However I have updated the quiz to make Will Sharman a correct answer as that's how he's commonly known.

don't worry mump, I put the quiz together and I got fewer points than you.

These stats are interesting. It shows who was guessed most often. Obviously some people suffer due to having names that are hard to spell but Dwain is up there in peoples' consciousness.

He's also in the first event so you put his name in first.

By the end when you're having to scroll up and down to remember events it becomes a lot harder.

The spelling, the typing, the stress of the deadline...lucky no one expects me to perform under pressure... Surnames only would be good, then you wouldn't have to worry about Andy/Andrew Turner and Chris/Christopher Tomlinson.
