5861 points for ennis

Surely a personal best is on the cards and maybe a national record if tyminska can run jess to a good time in the 800

Whats her PB in the Javelin? It's 50m+ isn't it?

Dobrynska challenge is pushing Ennis into her best I feel.

More to come in the 800m.

If she doesn't improve in the javelin I make it that she needs to run about 2.09.5 in the 800m to get the GB record.

Chernova has threw over 50m in the second round

Comfortably in 4th but still 125 points away from 3rd

Virtual Standings:

1 ENNIS, Jessica GBR 5861

2 DOBRYNSKA, Nataliya UKR 5843

3 OESER, Jennifer GER 5751

4 CHERNOVA, Tatiana RUS 5626

I'm not 100% sure on my accuracy but I think that a time as modest as 2:16 would give her a pb.

Its possible ...

6,831 - 5,861 = 970
970 => 2:09.66 (to equal GB record)
971 => 2:09.59 (to break GB record)
JE's 800m PB = 2:09.88

Also, to beat Kluft's championship record of 6,740 would need another 880 points, which equates to 2:15.94.

Finally, 18 points is worth about a second and a quarter... and Dobrynska isn't a mug over 800m.

Its safe to say the championship record is going to be broken but will it be Dobrynska or Ennis?
Dobrynska too will be looking for a national record trying to be druggie blonskas record of 6832

6,732 (new PB) - 5,861 = 871
871 => 2:16.58

I dont think it is definitely ennis's title because dobrynska looks to have improved her flat speed and could give jess a run for her money

I can manage the foreign Europsorts on MyP2P, which are at least recordable, that one isn't.

18pts

eg dob 2.10.00 to JE 02.11.24 or DOB 2.12.00 to JE 2.13.25

DOB = her PB 2.12.96 JE would have to do 2.14.24

Lets just hope ennis has learnt her lesson from berlin and not run the first 200m in 27 sec

JE 800 Berlin is an eternity ago?! A few more 'interesting' figures:

JE
800 m, 10 best results (legal):
2:09.88 H Desenzano del Garda 10 May 2009
2:10.91 H Szczecin 8 Jul 2007
2:11.19 H Götzis 30 May 2010
2:11.39 H Osaka 26 Aug 2007
2:12.22 H Berlin 16 Aug 2009
2:12.55i P Doha 13 Mar 2010
2:12.66 H Melbourne 22 Mar 2006
2:13.45 H Göteborg 8 Aug 2006
2:14.31 H Desenzano del Garda 6 May 2007
2:16.95 H Arles 2 Jul 2006
Average: 2:12.551

DOB
800 m, 10 best results (legal):
2:12.96 H Götzis 31 May 2009
2:13.07 H Talence 20 Sep 2009
2:13.22 H Berlin 16 Aug 2009
2:14.85i P Doha 13 Mar 2010
2:14.89 H Talence 14 Sep 2008
2:15.38 H Götzis 30 May 2004
2:15.45 H Kyiv 16 May 2004
2:15.57 H Göteborg 8 Aug 2006
2:15.69i P Valencia 7 Mar 2008
2:15.91 H Kyiv 4 Aug 2007
Average: 2:14.699

I'll plomp for JE notwithstanding it is suggested that DOB has increased her running speed.

if u where jess now would u

a) sit on dobrynska and out kick her down the home straight

b) run for a pb as a fast as you can and hope u get it

c) race the other girls to win the 800m

what to do?!

i dont want her to think about the british record its about the european title!
