recording the European Champs

I am away on holiday for 3 weeks from tomorrow [July 21] Although i am hoping to get everything recorded i am asking if anyone will be recording any or all of Barcelona on either Eurosport or the BBC in case technology lets me down. Am happy to come to some financial arrangement.

I'm thinking of recording it on BBC on my computer and probably transfering to DVDR (Dual Layer if it's to big).

I can convert it to AVI/WMV/DIVX/MP4/MPEG if you need it.

BBC Stream wil be the main one I'll use, will look to see if a British Eurosport stream is available (Kermit might now.)

i'm in the same boat as GM i'm going to be in Barcelona and i'm taking my mumj as well so my back-up for taping stuff won't be able to

i'd happily pay if i could get copies of everything as well

Just to let you guys know, been real busy and unfortunately struggling to record the streams.



I only got half of it atm, and I can't convert the files into Avi or WMV atm, real sorry guys.

Streams have been cutting off as well when I record them unfortunately.

Have you been looking at BBC iplayer? Eurosport have highlights as well I think.

i know you can download programmes for a month on i player, is there anyway of saving them permenantly ??

I could try to send you what I have, but be aware it's not that much decent live stuff.

Some highlights on there I think but tbh I haven't had a look at all of it yet.

AFAIK, no, you can't download iplayer content permanently. I have been lucky to record some of the team championships at Bergen earlier, but that's about as good as it gets.

I have all the track finals and some of the field finals on DVD from the BBC if that helps? I know that you're looking for heats etc as well but let me know. It's straight from the hard drive so great quality.
