England run by UKA

Postby brucepage » Mon Oct 06, 2008 1:36 pm

Does anybody have further information about England being told what to do by UKA?

I hear there have been severe problems for England getting squads organised this winter because UKA want to call the shots and choose the coaches.

That's a bit cryptic !!

What's happening? I thought England were supposed to be independent of UKA, or that's what we were lead to believe. Or are you saying this isn't the case ?

what utter rubbish, England are running there own squads. Just ask Dave Sunderland.

The aim of the squads is to first invite the coach, the athlete second. Practical coach education and about time too.
