just wondering has anyone heard whats gonna take place instead of the reebok series . :roll:

Not sure, but don't think they've found a replacement sponsor yet. I'm sure the same meets will still go on, there just won't be the prizes at the sharp end.

i dont think the prizes will be that important its the level of competition that the boys and girls need to progress.just doing well in competition of that quality is a great achievement.

I emailed AW earlier about this and apparently they're doing a piece on the Cross Challenge, as it's now going to be called, in next week's issue.

now reebok have pulled out i feel the competition will not be as good as previous years.

Isnt it just the same event enamed now they have a new sponsor. Hope to do a few more of them this season.

Is the prize money the same? If it is then all the same athletes will still do it. However, i'm not sure many runners would stop doing it just because of reduced prize money anyway. So it should still be a good series. Looking forward to the feature in athletics weekly.

I am sure they wrote about it the other week. They will write about XC but not mountain running. Surely one of the ditors fancied a trip to NZ!!!!!
