I thought it would be obvious for you to mention which magazine you think is the best if voting other!

Sod the magazines! Everything you need is on the internet anyway.

tu tu Alfie, how many time have I told you, it is not the same sitting on the loo with the laptop as it is reading a good running mag. Plus, its difficult to surf the internet when flying. There will always be a place for magazines.

Maybe some from AW could tell us if they have noticed a large decrease in sales since the internet became more popular?

I voted "Other" as my preference is for The Coach.
There's always something inspirational or informative, pragmatic and eminently usable in it.
I spend more time reading online though. Dare I mention letsrun.com here?

Speaking of wiping botties, I've been caught short twice whilst training this past week and have had to have recourse to:
A large fern plant - natures natural provender and
A large hank of frayed nylon rope (flotsam on the beach)

A guy I used to train with once utilised the bumper of an adjacent car for this same purpose. Yuk. Tee Hee.

I find not wiping the best move after the incident with the nettles. I have had a friend who used a stone.

I used to suggest to my athletes to carry a piece of John wayne toilet roll
but they stopped useing it, because it was rough ! Tough! and took no Sh*T from runners!

ATHLETICS WEEKLY USED TO BE GOOD, BUT I FIND THE SHINEY PAPER A BIT TO SLIPPERY, LIKE IT’S CONTENT! :)

I think it was the hotspur which used to be the best running mag,
alf Tupper, Wilson etc, now these guys could really run on track, road, and fell, and nutrition was never a problem. it didnt have an editor expressing his views either!

The old mags were best 8)
