Best London Marathon

Postby Silver Fox » Fri Apr 21, 2006 12:30 pm

What are the AW forum users' favourite London Marathon races or moments?

I think mine has to be Paula's world record.

1998: McKiernan's win. :)

2002, when Khannouchi was overshadowed by Tergat and Geb, but showed his mettle to win in a WR.

Paula's too - when I heard it was one of those gobsmacking moments like MJ's 19.32 - a friend called me here in SoCal and was so excited he could barely speak coherently...
