Go Mo Go!!! Woooooo!!   I was worried about Ibrahimov.

I actually thought Baddeley did pretty well given the pace Mo set down.

Yeah. Me too! I really wasn't too confident in the past 400m. Really pleased for Mo! :)

Last 1500m - 3:43. Take note McCourt and McCormick!

Great gutsy run by Mo!

Good to see Baddeley putting himself in contention for once. I do hope it doesn't prove to be his last chance for a championship medal as coming fourth can be quite cruel.

Well, Mo is the fastest of our 1500m runners - 3:33.98 is his best.

Interesting to hear he's going to run the NY HM.

Btw Lavillenie looks like he's having a great time out there.

That Ron really has got a touch of the Connies. How many times has he said 'It was not to be'?

Is Lavillenie stealing Tamgho & Lemaitre's thunder?

Is it wrong to enjoy a Russian defeat so much?

Thanks. It was a really good clearance too!

I'm slowly warming to Ron, but I completely missed what height Lavillenie was aiming for! Fantastic celebration! He is totally stealing the show from the other French athletes!

I'm glad we got a 400 medal as the Yorkshire lads were the only two who looked like they were taking on Djhone. Not surprised Djhone was a clear winner he has a few sub 45 runs outdoors while the other guys are around the mid to high 45s outdoors.

So pleased for Richard Buck getting the bronze. Djhone was a class apart. Strachan just went too hard over the first 200m but he gave everything. I love his attitude that you should do your best to win if you're wearing a British vest!

Jodie Williams has proven herself to be the real deal.
Fantastic performance in her first senior comp, making a tough final and smashing her PB.

Fingers crossed for Jenny tomorrow.......I REALLY want to see her stand on the TOP step of the podium.

Never doubted her tbh. Bernice looked ok, but I thought Jodie had a good chance if she ran smart and well, which she did outside the big lanes.

Whose your favourite for the final? The fast frenchwomen will raise her game with the crowd I guess.

Decent performance by Buck to get Bronze and feel for Strachan who ran for it, but ran out of gas at the end.

I think it's going to be a French 1 - 2 in the 60 with Obikwelu in third. I reckon that Harry must have been standing on the startline thinking about how he ripped his hamsting in the World Indoors last year and missed the whole of the outdoor season.

Flumpy, do you still wish Osagie had gone out in the heats? (Or perhaps I shouldn't ask that till after the final.)

I thought Tiffany Ofili came over really well in her interview. She's a great asset to team GB and it was a shame that she was in pain from that disolacted shoulder after she crossed the line, which must have taken the edge off her enjoyment of her medal.

When it comes to the men's 1500m, all I can say is roll on the next generation of athletes. Niall Brooks is moving up to 1500, and James Brewer, if he can get himself into shape, is fearless.

Speedy
No idea who will win womens final! Is it too much to hope that Jodie might get into the 7.1's ? Probably. But anything else she does is a bonus .

Mens final....I wouldn't write off Dwain. He might just run in the 6.4's. If he does he'll win.

Womens 800.... Jenny probably will need to run sub 1-58....and I think she will.

I enjoyed today's athletics. Lots of interesting races. Highlights for me were the 800 semis. Osagie learnt from the heats and made sure of his place in the final. I hope he gets in amongst the medals. Okoro was superbly gutsy and deserved her final place. Meadows looked a class act and capable of finding another gear. I'm really looking forward to the finals.

I think Steve meant DC might just run 6.5s; shame cos he looked nowhere near the man he was and I predict that if Lemaitre starts well he will win. What about Obikwelu; not to be written off.
I believe that not being invited to so many top meetings here and especially abroad is doing for Chambers; a couple of meets in GB is not enough. The same will happen this summer, sadly.

Sub 1.58 in the 800m ?? if that were to happen it would be because Meadows went out too fast and I am certain that the Russian Zinurova would love it.!
