Earthquake in New Zealand

Having already been through one quake (Sept 4th) I can safely say that having to put up with another one today (22 Feb) is really the pits.
My wife is stranded in CHCH, (we own a cafe in the SE corner of the city),and I doubt we will be trading again for a while.
At least no one connected to me has been injured. There will be many fatalities reported in the next few days.

My home (some 20 k north of CHCH ) shook like mad, and I had to go and get my kids from the local school. The whole experience of an earthquake is really quite alarming, and how you all must appreciate being in the relative safety of UK.
Right now I wish I was there too.

A very strong earthquake struck the new Zealand city of Christchurch on Friday, the city appeared to have been spared major damage. the killed 182 people and destroyed much of the downtown area.
