what should an athlete eat for the week, i have seen many differant diet's and curious to note the differance in other's diet's?

yes but one cannot live off just gravy so wot else meat and veg etc..

but yes gravy is valid

Beef and pork. A little chicken now and again but if the gravy is 'real' gravy, ie the stuff mum makes with fat on the top, you will live a long and happy life!!!

mash potaoto is just wrong and should be banned. I have gone years thinking this stuff is just wrong and should not be serve at carverys throughout the land. A nice new potaoto in its skin or a roasted is what sunday dinner is all about. A nive cut of beef, none of that shite you get at supermarkets, but a proper cut from the butcher, and a nice covering of home made gravy. cant ask for better.

Surely an exception must be made if served with finest bangers (with onion gravy)? Try making it with a potato ricer (to remove revolting lumpy bits) and a big dollop of marscapone in it - lovely!

Its when the mash mixes with the gravy. Thats the bit I do not like. Gravy is gods gift to mankind, and women kind, and should be eaten as often as possible. Pizza tonight, with youve guessed it...... Gravy. (Please also note that Gravy is spelt with a Big G!)

you can use sausages to create a dam against the incursion of Gravy. Or use a seperate plate......

Thats an idea but I think my hate of mash goes back to school dinners when it was served using and ice cream scoop!

5 a day then good idea! so that's a pint of stella, pint of carling, a pint of fosters, pint of guinness and a pint of vodka.. well it's always good to involve other nation's in one's drinking!

mushy peas - yak. Disgusting, horrible, nasty and rubbish dam building material.

I remember sculpted scoops of mash at school - not v. nice at all. but you really should try mash a la delia - different kettle of fish altogether.....

well not when cooked as the knife should go straight through it, uncooked the sucker pads may come in handy with the climbs!!

I eat whatever i want ! Lots of mars bars and lots of GRAVY!!!!! Thats what an athletes diet should be like!

The oreos went a long time ago. I am sure andi jones/TGD/YBM or whatever name he goes bu now has eaten them the same night he stole them out of the minis boot!!!!!
