Some really disappointing Sprint line ups and there could have been some EPIC 4x4's....but, not to be!

Imagine an AME team of Shericka and Novlene with Debbie and Allison!

and Wariner/Gonzales/Chambers/Brown

Be interested to see what Bingham, Rooney, Krasnov and Borlee put together. Wish Jonathan Borlee replaced one of the Brits TBH!

Im pretty sure the Brits will do well out there, and its a relay so of course Rooney's going to run well, will be interesting to see what order they choose though, think the Russian on first (unless he's finished for the year) or Bingham...

The Borlees haven't been any better. Jonathan came 7th at the Euros only beat Rooney by 1 place in Zurich. No one i stupid enough to drop Martyn Rooney from a relay and Bingham came 2nd.

Am also keen to see - if it comes down to politics or whether they factor relay splits historically. Borlee is probably the slowest relay runner, but is the champ. Perhaps
Borlee-Bingham-Krasnov-Rooney :?:

Krasnov chases people - think 1st leg wouldn't work for him, as the stagger would cancel out his race pattern, much like Christine in the GBR relays

so is this going to be on the telegraph website?!? im quite excited if it is, i was very disapointed to miss it... i am however praying already that connie henry will not be commentating!

Good grief - Athletics Weekly cannot even get the dates right - it is NOT on 3 and 4 September - it is 4 and 5 September so don't go rushing to Telegraph website today - there is no sign of any coverage!

I was convinced it was the 4th this threw me i checked the site haha!

I must say I moan about the BBC coverage but I would always rather some than none!

shivfan, I must offer you an apology, for my starting topic 'split 4-5sep10' on 1sep & you'd been underway since 20aug.

On 'my' topic perhaps the most valuable items are by oldboy and Kermit re radio and streams.

If people want lots of reading re the event, including a preview of day 1, go to the IAAF site: they are really giving it a boost.

I don't understand why the IAAF hype all of these events (Berlin, CC etc) when their is no way for most fans to watch. Nothing on Eurosprt, Sky Sports, BBC, ESPN...
