Well its underway, and if the weather conditions are anything like where i am, then they're pretty sh*t.

Dwain Chambers looks in ominous form, 10.14 in the opeing round.....

Pardon me for breathing sotomayor!

I am fully aware of the fact that it's a heat, having ran at this level and higher before.

The heat had the most wind speed of the heats and yet it was the slowest time, even though the reaction times were collectively quick.

The dark horse (pardon the pun) seems to be Malcom. Did he show up on anybody's radar?

Soto many many moons ago in the golden era of our middle distance supermacy I was posting times that would of seen me safely negotiate the heats on a blustery night at the Palace.

Is it just me thinking this? - How comes the majority of our trials/championships are held in cold and wet conditions? Bad planning maybe?

UKA don't have control of the weather................

They can't help if it is raining or cold, a July afternoon and the chances are it won't be too bad, but unfortunatly not this year...

shocking arrogance from asafa powell in the golden league.
he was leading his meet by miles and then eased down to such a ridiculous extent, he finished 5th.
i doubt he'l make the final though im not sure as the commentators are speaking another language.

ps im aware this is the wrong thread but i couldnt be fussed to make a new thread for 1 post.

pps. maduaka and oyepitan through

Im really not going to take anything from these times in the opening round to be honest without being able to see the actual footage.
For all we know Jeanette K could have compleltly strolled the last 40m and taken it really easy, and perhaps Douglas was pretty much blasting it, remember she still does not have the A standard this year, and there are already 3 girls ahead of her in the queue to Beijing....

exactly !! The British media frustrate me so much sometimes, why just concentrate on the drugs story, im sure that will be the main story that comes out of the UK Trials, how well did Chambers do....

If the BBC can show his race so quick with an interview, then why not stream, or show online the other races ??

Christine O is racing in the 200m
