Paavo Nurmi in Glasgow

My grandad, who was the person who sparked my lifelong love of athletics, told me a few times that he had seen Paavo Nurmi run in Glasgow (where he lived). That was when I was young and green, so I didn't ask for details. He has now been dead for many years, so I can't ask him when it was. Does anyone know when he might have seen the great man on Scottish soil?

Thank you so much! Following that tip I found a piece in the Glasgow Herald from 1931 talking about Nurmi taking part in the Rangers Sports: http://news.google.com/newspapers?nid=2507&dat=19310801&id=fIRQAAAAIBAJ&sjid=KjQNAAAAIBAJ&pg=5329,4532339. My granddad would have been about 18. Apparently they would get crowds of 60,000 in Ibrox for this event! Anyway, cheers again, you've made my week.
