Athletics clubs - year of formation?

I would like to know if a list exists of the oldest athletics clubs in the UK and the years/month of their formation. if so details would be helpful. Would members of this forum be prepared to provide the details for their club?

If there have been mergers/splits etc. along the way please give those landmark dates as well.

One of the clubs that merged to form Hillingdon AC was Finchley Harriers (1877).

One of the clubs that merged to form Hillingdon AC was Finchley Harriers (1877).

That might explain why the "Finchley 20" road race takes place in Ruislip! For those unfamiliar with North/West London/Middlesex geography, Finchley is quite a way from Ruislip.
