FIFA - Can They Be Trusted

Postby Kermit » Thu Dec 02, 2010 8:56 pm

Some people say that Man Utd ruined the FA Cup when they pulled out to play in the World Club Championships - the truth, FIFA said "If Man U don't go, you will not get the 2006 World Cup" United went & FIFA lied.

2010 The best technical bid got the worst vote because the FIFA president gave all delegates English media cuttings regarding the corruption within FIFA to read over breakfast this morning and just before voting began reminded them of
this.

Fast forward to 2012 FIFA says a team comprising of the home nations at the Olympics will not affect their individual places within the FIFA family - REALLY!

Willsenna the newspapers (especially those who do not like Man Utd) will have you believe that that Man Utd pulled out for greed. The TRUTH as confirmed by the FA is that the FA asked United to play in the first World Club Championship as the FA were using them to get votes for the 2006 World Cup bid, which they lost due to the fact that the FA went back on their word to the German federation (the eventual winners). United were told by the FA that they didn't have to enter the FA Cup because they were on official FA duties.
