Has anybody out there had trouble with Nike Run Free shoes. Mine have split at the heel and both Foot Locker and Niketown tell me that there is a fault with the shoe. However, I did not keep the receipt and so cannot get a refund or a replacement pair. Nike Customer Affairs basically told me 'tough luck' and, believe it or not, referred me to and gave me the telephone number of my local Trade and Standards office but they also tell me I am lost without the receipt. If the shoes are faulty it does not say much for Nike that they will not entertain my complaint.
