Er - anyone remember Jason Livingston - I'm baby Ben (Johnson) but clean? You are judged by your actions and not your words. Why cannot people accept that. When you fail a drug test and it is over turned on a 'technicality' still does not explain how the stuff got there in the first place. Nobody is suggesting the likes of Bolt are taking drugs as their performances are so outrageous but if he was caught doping - many would pipe up telling they ha told us so.

I would not put it past anyone - as for Africans - they have been caught as well so i am not sure we should look to Africa for a moral compass.

Shouting too loud about it only brings suspicion on yourself if an athlete - and makes you a cynic if not!!!! Doping is far more over exaggerated than is reality. It is like the thought that we live in a crime fueled and dangerous society when we crime has been falling for years and at its lowest level sine the 50/60's apparently - and there are 15million more of us now.

Just picked up from twitter "Hours before his 1500m heat, it's been announced that Amine Laalou of Morocco has tested positive for furosemide, a banned masking agent." which is the same substance that Selsouli tested positive for.

Interesting story about Laalou - Andreas Vojta (AUT) shared a room in a hotel during a meeting in Stockholm in winter and found some interesting equipment (didn't have to search for it).

Interesting thing about Alex Schwarzer, he could have avoided the testers when they called, only he would have had to cope with the guilt a bit longer, and would also have had to tell his mum (not to open the door!), and I guess he couldn't do it. But if you dope with a bit of a team around you, the odd missed test presumably wouldn't be a problem.

I do love it when a cheat confesses, apologises and then promptly retires. People should be embarrassed when caught but so many are completely shameless, deny it and then return better than ever.

I wish more would follow the Kelli White/Alex Schwazer example.

I guess he could've had a missed test, go to London , get a medal and then retire. I assume he had less than two missed tests prior to that day.
The young Kenyan Kisorio's admission isn't greeted with gratitude though, but I'm sure the German media who are trying to break that story will have a flield day.

Just been on BBC news that Nadzeya Ostapchuk from Belarus, who won gold medal in women's shot putt, has been disqualified for a doping offence.

Ostpchuk has failed a drugs test and will be stripped of her gold medal. valerie Adams is now the Olympic champion. Apparently an anabolic agent was found in her sample Shame it wasn't discovered before the Games!

It's not disappointing at all, it's fabulous.

The more post games +ives we get the better. I thoroughly looking forward to them.

No positive tests doesn't mean no drug cheats it just means they haven't been caught. There are quite a few medallists from these games that we all know are cheats. Even if it's in 8 years time I can't wait for them to be rumbled.
