Seems Christian Malcolm false started in the 100m C race. Marlon Devonish 2nd in 10.52

200m B race won by Danny Talbot 20.52 PB (0.4)

Mens A 100m - Blake 1st 9.85 and Dasaolu 5th 10.12 seasons best (+1.6)

With a line up of Chambers, Dasaolu, Malcolm and Gemili there would at least be an outside chance. Dwain needs to find some form though, seems to have been a season too far for him this year ironically.

The results have changed again! Something clearly wrong, as I just rewound the recording and Dasaolu finishes 6th IMO, just ahead of 7th and a long way ahead of the Swiss guy in lane 8 - but that's not what they've got!

Yeah they've got the Swiss guy finishing with 10.11! Pretty sure he trailed in about 10.6. I reckon Dasaolu's 10.19 is correct though. Half decent time but he's got plenty to work on before London though, hopefully we'll see some improvement by then.

Really like Ryan Wilson. Wish he could tidy his technique and find consistency. I seriously thought he was coming through to win us trials until he hit the seventh. Shame to see someone as talented as him, (13flat) never make a major champs.

Had anyone heard of this 21 year old Jason Young before this meet? 10.06 in the 100m B race and 19.86 in the 200m. Unreal depth of talent Jamaica have.

I reckon the time is correct. He had just run 10.06 and was miles ahead of everyone else. Malcolm ran 20.8

I like that team too but I'd just be worried that we would be accommodating both Talbot and Malcolm for Chambers. Think i'd rather see either one or the other. I'd love to see Gemili on anchor but I don't think we have enough good bend runners to do this. I'll check out your reasoning on the other thread though.

Based on Malcolm's first half tonight, I'd be inclined to leave him on the start as he was up there with leaders at that point. I'd leave the decision on whether to include Chambers until after the individual, as he often peaks well for Champs. Agree with both Gemili and Dasaolu definately. Would probably go Malcolm-Dasaolu-Talbot-Gemili. If Chambers joined in I would put him on anchor and Gemili on the bend.

Maybe you're right - but remember that they'll be 24 semi-finalists and only around 10 of this year's world top 25 will be in London.

If you watched that race you know James D can run a LOT faster than that - he stumbled on step 2 or 3 and absolutely screwed up the last 20-30m. If he can get it together he can be in the 9.9-10.0 range. As for the relay I can't see him being it in. He hasn't practice it for perhaps 2-3 years. I think he'd turn the place down even if someone was crazy enough to take a VERY big risk on him.
