I think that was the worst Beeb coverage ever. Why do the producers let Colin Jackson witter on over the introductions to middle distance races when Steve Cram is there and actually knows what he's talking about?

Now I'm listening to Radio 5 live and they're chatting over the 4 x 400 relay. What's the matter with them??

I don't think the slight bump on the Botswanan merits an appeal, but still... none of that in the real competitions, please.

I think first leg is still up for grabs, but would probably have Clarke-Green-Rooney as my last three. Have never really got the love for Dai on the relay and Jack Green looks to have far more in the tank than that 45.2 solo run

Re 4x100m - WTF is Dwain doing on first leg? i don't remember him being a great bend runner and he got eaten at that US meet - I'd have thought 2nd or 4th leg

1. I'd def have Jack in there. He's looking strong!

2. Maybe they were trying to keep a low profile for Dwain, rather than the obvious anchor?

Good relay run out. Conrad the weakest link...did Levine really run a 44.6 opening leg???

Green looked very strong and I think should be in the team. Clarke looks so full of running but really struggles with his last 80m, lack of race fitness??

Add Rooney, Greene, Buck, Tobin, Bingham and Steele into the mix and we have a very strong team for London!
