It has become very unlikely now for Kelly to compete in the London Olympics.
Whilst that would seem a great shame on the surface, it may turn out to be a blessing in disguise.
I wouldn't want to see a great athlete such as she struggling to overcome injuries and just make up the numbers.
I'd rather remember her athletics career as a top line performer.
On the credit side I'm fairly sure the media would be lining up to sign her up as a pundit. And I'd love to see her in that role. After all she has never been shy in coming forward with an opinion.
Maybe its time for her to give her body a rest, and instead get paid to talk.
