Goes to show what one mind can do. Bondarchuck now has 3 athletes over 20m in the shot in Canada as well as a few top hammer throwers of which Sultana isn one - and all from one small town of 50,000 people! Britain's Sophie Hitchon is also using his system with success down south as well.d pickup wrote:75.04 Sultana Frizell, CAN, '84

She [Lorraine Ugen] showed a lot of promise last year jumping 6.54 at the trials. I see on POT she has a 6.51iA listed at Alberquerque on 24 Feb as well, which has to be an indoor PB. Seems to be wintering well. I think her 11.61 may well be superior or equivalent to her 11.85 PB, if you believe in 'basic' conversions.
She's going to need an A standard of 6.75 (I think) to make it onto the team, so lets hope this kind of form continues into the summer. It would be wonderful to have two Brits there.

I saw that and I'm delighted for him and Abi Oyepitan. I hope he's selected, given the aim of having athletes in as many finals as possible. Actually I'm not sure that's an official aim, but it would be good to have representatives in as many events as possible.
Totally agree. Now if someone could actually translate his work correctly other people could actually start applying his methods.readtherules wrote:Is Bondarchuk the greatest coach that any sport has ever seen ? Ans = YES

I know it's not a done deal that he'll be representing Britain by the summer but this kid could be something very very special. Mitchell-Blake also reaches final.
Williams also won his heat of the 100 on 10.69 with little effort. Semi & final of that comes later tonight.

By the way I've managed to see live coverage of the Jamaican trials via the Facebook/Sportsmax link and saw his 100m.
