The commentary was spoilt somewhat by the female commentator Connie ? who has the wrong voice and made some real howlers this morning. Mind you we were spared the awful cult of the personality on the Beeb and the dreaded Jackson and Brenda's cliches.  So just about 6 out of ten. Connie H...

Well so far so good. In half an hour I've already seen more athletics than I would have done in the whole morning on the BBC. It would have been all chat about Dwain Chambers and "coming up tomorrow...Jessica Ennis!"

I know it's been mentioned elsewhere, but does anyone know why Vikki Hubbard is in, but not Stephanie Pywell? Have I missed something?

Just want to say that I agree with all this about the BBC's coverage. I'm normally at the championships but I'm not this time, and it's so frustrating having to rely on the TV. If you've got it, Eurosport at least show field events and give a bit more of an international flavour. I thought the BBC c...

I'm glad people are starting to notice this hideous idea. I've complained to EAA myself and their reply, although well-written, amounts to the fact that they think they need to pander to the short-attention span of the casual TV viewer. To be honest I wouldn't mind seeing a bit of innovation in a fe...

Thought I might as well promote this other Fantasy game too. This one has more of an international flavour, but no prizes..

Closing date is 8th May
