Lsabre - what is your athletics credentials? Oh, so it now becomes a matter of credentials when you can't find anything to turn over my arguments? How suitable for you Kermit! Let me tell you something, try to find some good sound grounds for everything and anything you maintain rather than resorti...

lsabre, if you really feel you need to 'defend' yourself (this is only a forum after all), is it possible you could start another thread and do so in there? It's just this one should really be about tonight's action - which was surprisingly good, as on paper I had it down for a night out! Much obli...

Isabre, you are attacking people one by one, for no apparent reason, everytime someone questions you, then you bite and attack people! You are wrong sometimes and so are others...people would have more respect for you if you just admitted it...even slightly! Not at all, JumpingStan, simply defendin...

Sailer pips Mang on the line in 11.09 into a headwind, that was some good quality sprinting out there.

Once again please open up your ears, open your eyes and read what I have to say CAREFULLY I have not or ever will be on anyone's side on this or any other forum. Your paranoia needs to be halted. Seconded, perhaps an enforced vacation from the board would halt his tongue occasionally, but we can on...

Well done Phillips, a master class in showing that you don't need the crowd to clap to jump big. When he hit the new PB his balance was spot on. Tamgo will now go home and hopefully realise that DL is different to championship jumping. As for you Lsabre, once again in a championship you show your t...

Isabre you clearly have very disturbing mental/social problems.... Nobody gives a damn what you come out with any more because you fail to see anything other than your own blinkered view. Nobody was stating Phillips had no chance of getting the gold, they were just not stupid enough to discount Tam...

Actually, Phillips now misses only the Olympic title to complete the Grand Slam of titles, but I hope it's not a bad sign that London doesn't begin with 'B' *chuckle*!

And now that Phillips is the new European Champion, I recall how many jumped on me back in mid June when I was the only one to maintain that Phillips might have lost the battle in New York but not the war! So glad I stood my ground once again and turned out on the right end! WELL DONE PHILLIPS!

Are you 13 yrs old? I'm not out to prove anyone wrong but you state opinions as facts and sometimes can't see something so obvious when everyone else can! A bit of humility can go a looooong way..... As I've said above, Plyo, get over it! Like that 'notorious' bet we 'had' two years ago and many ot...

Sorry, Jambob, but I saw different as saw others as well... But there is clearly some anti-Turner movement here, isn't there? saw others as well? Phillips looked like he was going for a really big one in the third but his final phase didn't quite come off... 17.40m (-0.7m/sec) still, his best series so far this season.

Her start was actually pretty good, but she ran what she is- an 11.4 runner. Her start wasn't good, Plyo, but if you didn't say the opposite that wouldn't feel right, would it? ;-) well she was level after 30 m. Her start was ok-ru watching it? Actually, she wasn't level at 30m, but again it wouldn...

Martyn Bernard has failed in all three attempts at 2.31m but that hardly matters as he walks away with a rather surprising bronze, setting a SB of 2.29 in the process! Actually, I put Bernard up for bronze in the prediction competition, ... Benjiman, but I need Ukhov to go top to gain some real goo...

Malcolm not so fluent as in the morning but is through in second, as was Devonish (20.55, SB) in the first semi. Both look convincing enough to grab a medal there.

Linus Thornblad fails at 2.31 for a third time meaning that Martyn Bernard has got bronze at worst in his hands, missing narrowly earlier on at this height!

Phillips opens with 17.46m into a -1.3m/sec headwind to move ahead in the triple jump, looks good and smooth today!
