She has Scholiosis on her hip which has been inflamed all season which has, obviously, affected the way she runs, she has been compensating for the pain by running mainly on one side. She has got to spend the next few weeks having intensive physio and treatment for it.

PAUL  How dare you say those things about Jemma What do you know - you armchair athlete! You do NOT KNOW what was wrong with Jemma that day at Berlin (she was in two minds whether to even run) with hindsight she wished she hadn't. She's not a machine, she's human and there are days when she's ...
Seems to be a few changes to the line-ups including several Brits. Rutherford and Williams are out but Okoro is now in the 800m meaning we have 3 athletes in that event.
I can't see Okoro on start list?
Steve Lewis improves his outdoor best from 5.61m to 5.71m and Okoro looked very good indeed in the 800m running 1:59.9 - had quite a lot in reserve I felt.
Each year Jemma Simpson tops the women's 800m in the head to head table in the Power of Ten over Okoro and Meadows. Also, she is National champion in the 800m outdoor and the 1500m indoor, yet she's never mentioned. SHAME ON YOU!

What is the point in all this guesswork? It's ridiculous!! There are several months until Beijing. You don't know what physical condition any of the athletes are currently in or what condition they are going to be in. You don't know who will be on form or who will be ill or who will be slightly inju...

Didn't you hear, Jemma's preparation was ruined. Her luggage went missing so she didn't have any kit with her. She had to borrow sprint spikes which made her feel heavy legged when she ran. She couldn't focus on the event because of the mis-hap. The whole trip went from bad to worse. At that level p...
