Yes! She seemed perplexed that a jumper could fail an attempt at a height below his pb -then quickly reminded herself of the 3 attempt rule in the vertical jumps. Nothhing like learning on the job!

rjmb I missed it, so I may stand corrected. As to your link to the article - in the main it is very true. However I think it is on another level now. Having said that can't think of any other times! Having siad that all is not lost. Craig has now got to dig deep and more importantly back up those w...

Now before people start jumping on me and saying I am anti-Pickering. Here is a general summary of the summer so far. In every race involving another member of the relay squad I have never seen him shake the hands or congratulate them. The same is said of the opposite. The pictures I saw from the c...

re Pickering: I actually know nothing at all about the group dynamics with the sprinters but I'm not entirely convinced the problems which exist are entirely down to Craig. He seems to be outside the clique of the black sprinters.......nobody even mentions him as part of the squad. Is he part of th...

Re: Kamal and Konchellah

Konchellah - sorry, Kamal or whatever his ridiculous new name is - ought not try too hard to follow in his Father's (Billy) footsteps. I was surprised at how much the BBC eulogised him last night. He is a convicted sex offender and paedophile . Nice to hear of how magnificent he was. I am sure his ...

I was deliberately apeing the quoted message (being sarcastic)!. I'm looking forward to a white man going sub 10; and an Oriental, Asian man for that matter.

Lets face it, if Pickering had featured in the final he would have come in front of Williamson and Edgar with those times.

If Pickering(13 sub 6.60) runs to form he stands a good chance of beating Williamson (2 sub 6.60).

The door was opened for a legal challenge by WADA, if they hadn't opened the door Chambers would not of walked through it. Prime example (non sports related) a judge recently ruled that a witness's evidence was not acceptable in a high profile murder case because that person remained annoymous. Res...

For me it is a 100% NO! He knew the Byelaw was in place and he still went out and cheated. I think Mr Chambers and his team ultimatrely know that their case will fail at full hearing. To me this is the only possible reason that he has left it so late to serve the papers. He knew when he returned to...

Simeon Williamson unfortunately disqualified in his heat, won by Obikwelu, 10.10 -2.0.

Craig Pickering won his heat easily in 10.26 -3.6 (10.00 wind corrected/10.05 wind&altitude corrected).

Thanks for that! It seems 'traditional' for Pickering to open in Loughborough - though I didn't know it was this weekend. I guess he is properly over his hamstring problem - I haven't heard any news otherwise.
