Caught this article in the Mail Online.

Re: British Athletics European Trials and UK Champs 9-10th F

Just to support other positive comments about Holly B. Good progress for her over the last year and to be vaulting 4.77 in early February and even thinking about 4.90 bodes very well for her future. 'Flunker' statements are completely out of order! She seems quite tall and powerfully built for a fem...

Re: Womems & Mens 400 and relay prospects for the Euro indoo

Eilidh Child runs 52.06 indoors......maybe a bit quicker in the final. Another good omen for the 4 x 400?

And of course her 400H times should improve!

Re: Womems & Mens 400 and relay prospects for the Euro indoo

I'd guess that Christine O's new approach will help her with running faster 400 legs.......that could help secure a few more podium finishes?

Re: Brussels DL 7 September (Merritt 12.80 WR)

Am a user of the IAAF site for these Diamond League Meetings and have found the site very slow and 'clunky' this year. Didn't last year or previously.

I'm using Google Chrome as its normally faster with most sites.......any others struggling this year?

Re: Men's 4x100m

Again the Managers have the responsibility to ensure the Team gets it right....whatever it takes Adam and Danny pretty new young guys - the combination should have been tried much earlier in the season - and many more combinations at high level meets to get the adrenaline really going. Re: Men's 4x400m

This not really a 'get Dai' comment but.......OK it is!! way back this year the BBC ran a story from Dai - the headline quote was - Now I'm the best in the world........ - and I thought that doesn't ring true and its bugged me all season. It's now proven he's not.....with his Hurdles and Rela...

Re: Who should light the Olympic flame?

Kingmaker you are really creepy. Ultragirl - your comment was utterly and completely irrelevant and unnecessary. This type of comment you should keep to yourself - why would you think it necessary to write this? I can see nothing in Kingmakers comment to lead to your 'off the wall' comment - but ma...

Re: London Diamond League 2012

But you need to add in the fact Greene's Captain and its a home Olympics - that surely must get his 'fighters' blood going......... Yes Merito. Hemery/Pascoe and didnt even John Sherwood run some pretty strong relay splits? Would be great to see both 4 x 400 teams really flying round - I'd be hoarse...

Re: Maz Okoro to be added to the women's 800m

Just leave it be. The decision, whilst controversial, is a good message for up and coming folks.

Those not selected will probably roll over and go back to work. But when they think about their own situation and how that led to the decision.

Like Mr van C's style! :)

Re: w4x1 failure (AGAIN)

So good runs from Levine and Williams in the Euro 4 x 400 Tobin a real enigma for me. Never really in the zone for the last couple of years. Reasonable run from Richard Buck - tries hard but I don't think he's really up there with the first 2 and of course Rooney. I suspect one of the Green(e) s wou...

Josh Street having a great meet - ran 10.43 for 2nd behind David B in the 100m but has just won the 200m in 20.9 (unofficial) to book Barcelona ticket. Tricky one for selectors now, as they can only take one of Gemili or Bolarinwa, as both opted out of final Not bad for a guy who was dominating the...
