From what mike says and the other evidence from the stadium it appears athletics as a sport was, sacrificed to short term goals of success in london, -so we need a five year plan to take us thru to rio and worlds here in 2017 butthat must be integrated into a ten year plan for the sport overall.We n...

Whilst i find most post race interviews cringeworthy it does at least give you some insight into the mental attitude of athletes and too a degree what sort of character the athlete is.I am no sports psychologist but dear old lisa , lovable lisa is just so highly strung and appears not at all strong ...

I can see lisa on the podium if she gets her head and tactics right - hannah and laura will do well to get to the final - but so much better than watching baddeley.

I am not sure what goes on in andys head -he doesnt appear to be in the sport to compete let alone to win -i guess he really needs help with his psychology - a move to longer distances might help but with his mindset probably not much would change.
