I think it is pretty naive/ comical the responses to Lynsey being selected. So Lynsey might not get through round 1, but she has the best results of all girls going into the Olympics..... she has beaten them all in their last races.... BUT... the world has moved on in the last 2 years .... no Brits ...

I think the team should be cox/mcconnell, Childs, tbo, psd. McConnell is nowhere near her best but seems fitter than Sanders. Cox is faster, but Lee has 10 years experience in relay and anchoring, and I would suggest a better strategist and chaser.

Lead off is the big issue.

So from the individual event reports... Cox 52.4. Sanders 51.5. McConnell 51.4 and Childs 50.8.
