Re: Outdoor Results 2013

Yep is 11.84 really going to have the relay selectors getting excited?

Not good, not good at all.

Surely time to focus solely on

Re: I'm a bit down on Steve Cram at the moment

Still shameful the way the Beeb treated David Coleman.

Anyone know how his health is?

Interesting article about disgraced shot putter Paul Edwards.

Not sure about his lost lifetime earnings though of £750k?

Re: Doha DL

Justrunfast, I agree Jack Green just needs to hit a clean race and he'll break into the world's top 5 quite easily. That won't happen at the flat 4. I think he should push for a regular relay place however. A Diamond League was perhaps a tad over ambitious for a first race? Worryingly Peri Shakes-Dr...

Why TBO?
Is it some sort of doping reference? Been trying to work it out

West London always seem to produce good throwers.
Is Kai Jones coached by his club coach still at Ealing?

Jeremy1,
Good point! I'm pretty sure Ron Roddan wasn't paid a 6 figure salary was he?

Re: Shawn Crawford banned

Just been studying last years IAAF 2012 stats book and have to say Crawford has just gone up a bit in my estimation (shades of Ron Clarke/Zatopek). In Beijing after being awarded silver following the dq of Martina and Spearmon, he was apparently very humble and at the Weltklasse meet handed Martina ...

Re: Marilyn Okoro

Ok- I just read into it that perhaps you were involved on her coaching set up.

I think she's one of the mait talented athletes we have and think 1.56 is possible this year

Re: VIRGIN LONDON MARATHON

Did Mo pull out before halfway as apparently a lot of people annoyed who were at the 13 mile mark to watch him but never saw him? (Some disgruntled people on tube just told me).
If true he could have at least kept his end of the deal

Re: Anniversary Games tickets

British Athletics have made a big mistake in going with Ticketmaster.
Well known for selling a very high % to companies like Seatwave and Viagogo who of course are online touts.

Is the nothing that they can do that is right?

Re: VIRGIN LONDON MARATHON

The only criticism I've ever heard levelled at Mick was by an England Athletics employee who said that "he never coaches black athletes".

Which of course is ridiculous

Kermit- I'm certainly not sexist- far from it.

You give the impression you're friends with her- is it actually a Nike deal or simply on a kit-drop basis?

Re: Athletes on the move

No way did 'Maz' get it due to last years times-come off it! Nike love a whiff of scandal (Woods/Armstrong/Rooney etc). They know that she is a decent athlete-potentially a world beater but also liable to blow up and spill the beans about UKA? She's photogenic enough (but no Felix or Shakes-Dreyton)...
