Interesting to see lolo jones and Tiana Madison doing bobsleigh and aiming for the Olympics - they seem to be doing quite well at it. Should some of our sprinters try this in the winter as part of their training - with success may improve motivation?

Maz is one of our most exciting athletes and it is an injustice that she has not yet been selected - whatever you think of tactics she is the only 800 m runner who could get carried with a fast pace and do something special - she has the talent .

Good luck tomorrow Maz - we all know you can do it and if the panel are truly independent we WIll see you in the 800m!

UKA's only using the IAAF A & B standards this year (except for the marathon). The men's LJ standard is stupidly high though. 8.15 or 8.10 would be much more reasonable in a year where no one's gone over 8.40 (bar some big fouls by Bayer and Watt). Can't be right Tomlinson no current A Chambers...
