Re: BBC and the Diamond League

If the red button doesn't show up on the screen still press the button - that's what I did on Friday. As for those complaining about not showing the earlier field events what do they want the BBC to do? Show up with their own cameras? The red button programme is the official IAAF broadcast, all the...

Re: Doha DL

Justrunfast Fair points. But I'm really just suggesting that in the future he might be better without barriers. He doesn't seem very accomplished getting from one side of them to the other. Which is pretty important if he is ever going to make a world final. I'm sure he will prove me wrong. :) jack...

Re: Alistair Brownlee 10000m (28.32.48)

I doubt Mr. Brownlie will seriously target track and field. Why would he, as the worlds best triathlete by a country mile? He will never be able to devote the time needed to take on the worlds best. If he runs in Glasgow it will be for a bit of fun. I think he will dabble in track and field as its ...

Re: Penn Relays

Yes I know, Sidelined. And you are absolutely right that there should have been a GB womens sprint relay team competing. But there wasn't. So they are all still waiting patiently in the wings until someone organises a race for them. It WILL happen, ...eventually. And when it does I hope they get th...

Re: Penn Relays

The word on Forums is that when the British runner in the Medley fell, said to be Rooney??, he threw a tantrum with his batton and did not even get up. Another runner , possibly Morroccan also fell, but got up and finished. Any truth in this story? Anybody see the fall. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v...

Re: Alistair Brownlee 10000m at Payton Jordan

Saw his interview yesterday during the San Diego World Series coverage. Been waiting a while to see how he'd fair on the track. He's already proved handy over Cross Country.

PJS wrote:A question though ... what difference does it make running in lane 5 as the "inside" lane?

I actually quite like it, because it means the athlete coming in can step out of the way much easier. Perhaps that's their reasoning on that one?

Looks like he's signed with San Francisco 49ers. Very good luck to him. My team is the Steelers, but I will keep a eye out for his progress.

Jenn Suhrs PV in Albuquerque was marked as at altitude officially so the best sea level performance is still Is...

Re: Goteborg 2013 Day 2

Is it me or has no-one on here mentioned James Dasaolu as a medal contender? 6.52! I was going to bring that up. He looked to be going full pelt though and I don't know how much the others eased it. Awful start though, so if he gets that straight for the final....?? Just great to get two in the fin...

Re: Birmingham Grand Prix

Where the heck did this stuff about Mo running in ther London Marathon come from. Is it official,?; like you posters I read all the media stuff and no way was Mo's name mentioned when the fields for the Marathon were announced a few weeks ago. No reference in Track and Field News or in letsrun.com....

Mo is training for the London Marathon, which is only nine weeks away. What do you know that we don't? I thought Mo had already said he is planning to do the 5000 and 10000 in Moscow, and possibly do the London marathon in 2014. He's down to run a half marathon on the 24th Feb. http://runrocknroll....

Re: British Athletics European Trials and UK Champs 9-10th F

World lead for Holly Bleasdale. 4.77. Must make her favourite for the European Indoors. Please not the kiss of death.
