Re: World Indoors Day 2

I noticed Paul Dickinson struggling quite a lot during the Winter Olympics. Everything was either "that was great" or "that wasn't so good". And the amount of times he had to be corrected by the other commentator (bobsled guy, forget his name) was slightly embarrassing. Colin st...

Re: Pistorius trial

I was also very disappointed it's being part televised. I can understand it in a situation where somebody has committed a crime against the state or a large portion of society - eg a banking scandal. But I am baffled as to why it's appropriate for this to be aired. Surely it's only the business of ...

Re: Rutherford and sledging ;-)

They were only just saying during the Men's Skeleton earlier that the best way to get competitors for countries without the natural facilities for these events is to find the best athletes first and then teach them to drive on ice. Best of luck to him.

It's where Irina Privalova started out isn't it? Although I don't know how successful she was before her switch. Speed skater to Olympic 400m Hurdles Champion.

Re: zurich entrants out

Notice Gemili is down to run the 100m against a field full of sub-10 men. Could this be the opportunity he needs to go sub-10 himself or might it be too overwhelming? Based on his 200m's in Moscow, he seems to thrive in amongst that environment. Fingers crossed!

Re: IAAF World Championships (Day 7)

Maz & Laura could have done with swapping semi's (yes, I know they can't do that!) Maz likes a quick race, Laura might have done the same as she did in her heat. The 3rd place time in the second semi was slower than her time in the first!

Don't know about anyone else, but we were getting very annoyed with the official who was trying to shove the Walkers out of the way when they'd bearly made it across the line!
