Track Sessions and how they relate to your capability

Does anyone have an idea of how some of the stock track sessions relate to current fitness? eg 12*400 with one minute recovery. What does a 65s or 75s average mean for your current 1500/5K capability? 8*300 with 2 minute recovery in average times such as 38, 42 or 46 secs. What would either of these...
