Re: Helsinki 2012 European Athletics Championships

So could they not take her as the discretionary place? Or would this entail not taking meadows? Can they not put meadows through on basis of A's last year rather than discretionary?

Re: Helsinki 2012 European Athletics Championships

I feel on the basis of that Sharpe should be taken... Firstly, unlike Okoro, she showed tactical nouse. Secondly, anyway with that kind of finish in the last 100m is a threat. I realise its a PB but if she can get some more strength in her she might be able to keep up with an even harsher pace and u...

Daegu Medal Possibilities

Denise and Colin said they had a list of about 10 medal possibilities... who would you say they are?

Obviously: Idowu, Ennis and Farah
Possibilities: Greene, Meadows

Then who?

I guess, in terms of possibilities; Bleasdale, Sayers, Dobriskey ?

Re: Aviva World Trials and UK Champs

Does anyone know if Vernon is running next week? They should definetly try to organise so he can have a crack at the B standard; he's so close it would be a shame not to get him there.

Re: EUR U23 champs 14-17jul11

I must say I wasn't impressed with Eilish, but potential definetly there. From what I saw: Good at the steeples when she attacked and accelerated into them But lost a lot of ground at the water jump She should have tucked in to the gaps in lane one as she kept drifting alongside the field and I ofte...

Sprints

I don't know if this has already been discussed to death but is it time for us to drop funding from the sprints? It seems to me we have a lot of men, especially, competing in the 100m (although i must admit, i dont know how many are funded) yet none have got below 10 secs and these days, without bei...

Re: Diamond Paris fri 7july11

Its so frustrating! I really hope it's on BBC3, hopefully I can record red button. Coverage of athletics is pretty terrible really.

Re: Diamond Paris fri 7july11

I'm ...

Athletics on TV

Hi all, New to this board but regularly get Athletics Weekly and I am a massive fan. During my exams I unfortunately missed the European Team Championships which I have an irrational love for - does ANYONE know if there's a watchback facility for this anywhere (I have watched the BBC highlights but ...
