Re: World Junior Championships

Kimberley Reed today threw 61.51 at the Scottish Uni Champs and tweeted that it was her first CG Qualifying distance :!: :?: Looking at the current WJ rankings a medal in Eugene is probably unlikely :?: As a Scottish athlete it will be hard to turn down the opportunity to compete in front of packed...

Re: World Junior Championships

Glasgow 2014 will be a once in a lifetime opportunity for Scottish athletes. I agree...

I would put Hitchon in to win the hammer.

I wonder what kind of odds the bookies would give on Scottish athletes winning both Men's and Women's hammer?

Re: BBC Sports Personality of the Year

In an attempt to add David Weir to the poll selections, the original poll has been wiped. Looking on the bright side, this gives people a chance to reconsider their original vote in light of the following: 1) The amazing win by Andy Murray at Flushing Meadow to become the first men's Slam winner for...

Many see wiining the TDF as having achieved the holy grail, but is it really so difficult, and more so than a double Olympic gold? A sportsman has the opportunity to win the TDF every ye...
