Hi Geoff, i think asah is now with the female coach at Lee valley called Christine or christy. I think she was used to be a former international athlete herself. Regarding gelling the team, I was told the organisation and management last year apparently was rubbish and coupled with the fact that we ...

Re: McFarlane Appointed to Relay Role

Hi, You are right the "real sub 10" Asha left Macfalane after Daegu, I think its a funny appointment and i don't see this working. Macfalane is a bit of a controversial figure (although he has prior experience) and I have been told the most of the girls might not like this appointment. I h...

Re: Best young talent.

Leaving aside the very obvious ones, I'll go with: Clovis Asong (400) u17 men Desiree Henry (200) u17 women I think both these young athletes will have an amazing year in 2012. (Hope I haven't jinxed them!!) I think as a nation we have always had problems with great juniors that don't transfer to g...

Re: EUR U23 champs 14-17jul11

so we have 2 100m women over there kicking their heals waiting for the relay who could have both possibly won that final  Completely agree, another UKA cock up. 1, they should not have set a silly date for selection when the rest of the world had another 2 weeks to get an even easier standard...

Breaking news.........Toby Sandeman RETIRES......

........According to his face book page Toby has called it a day.

Reports said he is not motivated and i don't think the injuries would have helped as well.

He thanked Ron & Linford for their help .

Shame really as I think he had a long way to go in the sport.
