Re: Goteborg 2013 Day 1

It is very odd though. The distances look ok, it's the athletes that are wrong.

I think Shara Proctor is Claire Tallent - qualified in 2nd place with 6.61 on her first attempt.

Don't know how they've managed to mess it up!

Re: Goteborg 2013 Day 1

Those results are really messed up.
When did Benita Willis start doing the long jump? :-)
And how long has Australia been in Europe?
Claire Tallent qualified with her first jump! Not bad for a walker.

They really need to sort the results out.

Re: Yamauchi and Geb set for Great Birmingham Run

Both are on Channel 5. Birmingham is live but not sure about the Great South. Highlights of the Great Yorkshire Run are on Channel 5 in the very early hours of Sunday morning (Sun 16th @ 4:05am). Re: CG news

Thanks for the confirmation; it just seemed a bit unusual. I'm coming round to the idea now - I quite like the idea of the women chasing down the slower men. The men should be safe enough - a '2003 vintage' Paula would have caught a few of them though.

Re: CG news

Just looking at the timetable and it seems as if the men's & women's marathons are both on Thursday 14th with the men starting 15 mins before the women. Is this correct?
(Sorry if this has been mentioned previously).
