I lost contact with him a long time ago and would really like to catchup and say hi again.

He was my coach from 73 through to about 85 when I was with Borough of Hounslow.

Interesting stuff Glen. I did many similar type sessions under Neville Taylor from 73 - 82. Neville and Harry Wilson were good friends at the time and we often got Steve's cast off sessions (or so it seemed.) To jshelley I would say that Glen has laid out quite a few of the sessions for you and ther...

Would have to say Parliament Hill. I did a "National" there one year. It was a nightmare although the long run in at the end was a huge buzz! Would also nominate "Northwood" The middlesex schools was always held there and it was as hilly as hell. Which was great, coming off a dead flat 3m 2 laps of ...

Johnnie Broe (Shaftsbury) lives just down the road from me and tells some great stories about being on the ...

"The Bull" is what they used to call Wells. I distinctly remember being out for a run one Sunday morning at Virginia Water (west of london) when there was a loud crashing noise coming up the side of the ridge we were running along the top of. It was Wells doing a series of hill runs up the side of t...

Hi Everyone, New member here so I'm going to stick my neck out and say Wendy Sly. 5th in the 1500/3000 at the 83 worlds and silver in the 84 Olympics at the height of the drug fueled eastern block dominance. I consider Wendy as really the forerunner of womens british middle distance running. (Along ...
