Interesting. What is the mathematical model this was based on? This sort of stuff is interesting but doesnt take into account the mental approach from each lane and how the athletes respond in various lanes to the actual race that is going on and therefore run differently in different lanes based on...

European Trials Predictions

Anyone got any predictions for the weekend? Mens 400m will be good - very competitive at the top end then in the 46 second group just behind that. 100m wil be dominated by Dwain I should think 200m is a good mix and match too of various athletes but none getting sub 20.5 as yet. Hayley could provide cover for both relays this year if not force herslf into both in the starting 4. She has some more 400m races planned but will be doing the 200m at EA Champs.
