Without knowing their training, I think Blake has done a fair bit of strength training and looks very powerful, where Lemaitre looks like he's been slowly eased into it, now if he comes European champ and he's now gone sub10, he may have a lot more focus(time and funds, plus financial rewards potent...

Hopefully Pickering and Williamson concentrate on 200's early season and forget indoors and just totally focus on the 100 come europeans and commonwealths. Hopefully both with mid 20 sec 200m pbs. The jams and yanks sprinters all manage to run comparitively fast 200's compared to our guys. Saying th...

I actually think GB got a very bright future in the 400. I think Rooney, Bingham and Clarke can become consistent mid 44 runners. Rooney was last year, but he can do it again and more, i think all 3 of them can. I expect Rooney or Clarke to get British record before 2012, both need to stop getting i...

Don't matter actually. Just done another bet sherricka williams to win 400 Greene to win 400h, risky but clement is also and jackson and him looked about even, so i'm risking it 800 borza- really really risky alekna in discus, while not fav he is a championship performer 4x400 men get a medal, looki...

I'll share my bets, I don't think they're particularly great but the choice wasn't that great. SAF to win 100 gb men to medal in both relays(wish dwain was on the team) Bolt WR in the 100m(need a tailwind for this really and to be pushed) £5 on that and a £720 return my other bet is Bolt win 200 Mer...

Journalists, maths, athletics! the 3 don't gel. Now if you removed the maths and replaced it with drugs then they would be crawling out of the woodwork to give their opinion. The championships start next weekend and this nation will have the least amount of journalists out in Berlin. This is due to...

He'd a probably ran 9.63/4, he's actually a pretty good dipper as well I've noticed so maybe slightly quicker.

If he'd got a +1 wind and ran all the way through he would of ran the most ridiculous time ever, it just wouldn't seem real.

My answer isn't a great help, but it was done at the african junior champs. So Africa. Birth certificate likely to be made up. Either was 1.56 at any age for a female is very fast.

I'm actually quite impressed how they done, a lot of good results. I looked at the 100 n 200 at the mens side and groaned, start list that is. The 100 guys actually ran really well, 200 no one went, 400 gold and bronze. 800 silver, 1500 a medal i think bronze and pretty much all the events upwards i...

I don't think Pickering has booked his place. I think Edgar did when he ran very quick the other day. Pickering won't have A standard yet will he, so they shouldn't really take him. Edgar messed up on a false start, he shouldn't be punished for a good season on 1 mistake. If pickerin goes out and ge...

He'll be rapid. He's ran 10.08 and 20 flat a few weeks back. Apart from injury i can't see him losing a load of speed just like that. Without seeing the race its hard to say, if anything he's took it easy and left himself a lot for the final. While the fav is still winning his races there is nothing...

Daniel gardiner(sp) in the 400 ecathlon didn't fare so well in the 400m, i expected more after his 100m. I can't imagine what his 1500 is going to be like, he needs to do some serious damage in his other events. Im guessing he's very powerful/explosive after his spot performance, long jump and sprint.

All three Brits are into the 100m final with Andrew Robertson notching the third semifinal in 10.59 (-1.5), Eugene Ayanful runner-up in the second in 10.47 (-1.3) and Max Galliers also second in the first in 10.72 secs (-1.3). The overall standard is not that impressive all the same with Ramil Guli...

Asafa still can't run in a straight line, he needs to get it sorted before Berlin. His start was bad as well like it has been all season.

I think London will be telling, i just hope for a good start most of all.

Pretty sure Nigel Levine has gone 45.8, hopefully another PB from him in the final. I was waiting for him to break through, i think he's got a bright future once he pulls it all together, lots of basic speed. I think british 400m has got a really bright future, i think Levine will keep on improving ...

Kind of agree with the firs 3 past the post particularly because they have already got the A standard. But i think if HAA or Pickering manage to get sub 10 territory and by a beat they could get selected. HAA always seems to run well in the final even if his semi's havent been that good or his build...

Pickering won a 100m race last night into a headwind. Think it was about 10.29 and about -0.9(can't be sure without looking).

He needs to get A standard(preferable before London GP) and run the race of his life at London GP.

Also Gay is racing Asafa at Stockholm i think later July.

here it is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IL7Bfe3Kgwc notice no real drive phase, relatively slow first 100m, wind not massive and still going strong in the last 50m. He could get the WJR if he nails it out from the gun. He's very raw. Should be at Berlin. Will be good to see him, the way the 200 ha...

great time, i said it on TnFN i reckon he will run pb in semi's to keep with the first 2 and it may cost him a medal in the final. Hopefully he can produce another PB, the american or 45 runner should of been in first heat which was relatively a lot slower.
