Brett Morse, only got 1 throw in but it was a PB effort - 63.35m for 6th place. Pleased to see him throw far in a good competition.

Mens 4x400 Admin wrote it was a great run by the Russians. It wasn't, actually it was just ok(3-02!!).The reason they won was because the so-called best teams ran very badly. I still dont follow why Greene is not considered for relay duty.I'd have a world-class hurdler in preference to an ordinary ...

It was amazing in the stadium tonight. The atmosphere was electric for the men's 1500m. Was so proud to be british and made a nice change from being 'nearly medal winners' to 'actual medal winners'. Just wish Hatti Dean had got the bronze she deserved and Christian had got that gold. Fantastic effor...

Noticed in the 400m hurdles that the crowd are very close to lane 8 and people are leaning over. Think that could impact on the people running in that lane, especially those who are hurdling as sometimes the athlete has to run to the outside of the lane.

Rimmer came 5th in 1.44.49 (PB) and Dai ran 48.49 (SB) in the 400m hurdles, to come 5th. Both very promising results for the Europeans. Samson Oni, bit disappointing in 2.24m for high jump.

Christian Malcolm won the 200 in a legal 20.50 with Jeffrey LB 2nd in 20.52 both 'A' standards.

Leon Baptiste won the 2nd race in 20.69, and Mark Findlay 20.71, both 'B' standards. Could cause a dilemma for selection.

Dai will be the runner with the 'A' standard, Rhys will be the 'B' standard runner and then there's the opportunity for UKA to offer a discretionary place but they don't have to. As the men are doing so well in the 400mHurdles compared to other europeans chances are they will take someone. I think ...

http://www.sep-olympic.ch/resisprint/ for the Swiss meeting. Takes about half an hour for them to update the results.

Forgot to mention earlier MLF ran 10.14sec with +2.1 wind to win, with Jeffrey LB 2nd in 10.21

In the 400m Vicki Barr 2nd in 52.40sec, Maz Okoro 3rd in 52.46, Nicola Sanders 52.78 Definitely think the altitude is helping them as Vicki Barr ran 53.23 last weekend. It's a shame Nadine Okyere didn't run there instead of Cork, as she beat Vicki last week, yet Cork didn't seem to produce fast times.

They said that Nicola Sanders was 52.3 and Nadine was 52.6. Nadine doesn't always look as fast as she is as she doesn't have a particularly fast leg turnover.

The relay splits for the men's team were: Conrad Williams-45.9, Richard Buck-45.6, Chris Clarke-46.2, Michael Bingham 45.8 (slowed down when realised the Russians were going to win and he wasn't going to get caught)

Eilidh Child is ill so won't be doing the relay, Nadine Okyere will be replacing her. Dai Greene will also not be doing the relay, therefore Buck will be running.

Caryl Granville (u23) also ran 59.99sec to win the women's 400mh in the Welsh Champs, which is a big SB and 0.04 off her PB, means she is the 8th woman under 60sec this year, and in windy conditions with 2nd place nearly 2 secs behind, definitely more to come.
