Re: Independent Coaching Association

Re Solomon and Kingmaker's comments As a relative novice to the sport I think I would lack the required gravitas or recognition to mount a serious threat but does not exclude me from asking the question that has been debated on recent threads. As a new person to this forum - do you have to be so ru...

Re: Independent Coaching Association

This has been called for - are there any takers? Who is prepared to start it and lead it? I have read through a few threads and noted that there is a British Milers Club, Hammer and Javelin clubs and ABAC. Are these not prepared to start a revolution in the sport. If they are not happy why not star...

Re: UKYDL Meltdown

So all organisations which lose people are organisations with no organisation? THere's nothing that I can read into that text which says anything other than "Our administrator is moving on. We wish her well. Any volunteers?" Or do you you know more of an inside story than you are letting ...

Wendy was brilliant in this role and the League will be hard pressed to find a suitable replacement with a much energy, vigour and organisation as she has provided for the NJL then this organisation

UKYDL Meltdown

Real real shame this taken from the UKYDL Website: "06.09.2013. It is with considerable regret that the Youth Development League will be looking for a new Administrator for the 2014-2015 season. Wendy Daniel who has been fantastic in taking on the implementation of the new league during 2013 wi...

Re: Rotherham Stadium Closure Threat

I find it most unfair to ask a club to run a facility, it is hard enough to get members to officiate let alone accept responsibility for the pole vault stands being erected safely, or hammer cage nets being safe. Rotherham can afford to keep it open, this is purely politics of a labour council. The...

Re: New Centralised Hub at Luffbra

It was not athlete eyes that said that It was me, He is one of the people slagging off those coaches. its weak and cowardly especially when the coaches seem to achieve something that most have not in an event where results are hard to get and things are dominated by Jamaican and the Yanks. Re: New Centralised Hub at Luffbra

This isn't really new, news tho is it. The UKA coaching fraternity have known about this since before the game. Certain ones need to go and to be honest I can't see the ones who don't make the cut being appointed at England. In fact I think some of the England ones may find themselves at UKA and oth...
