its seems simple to me . eurosport for fans of athletics and the bbc for hearing how great the people on the panel were. field events and other nations exist on eurosport and can even catch up on previous days events later for those who are at work .

an incredible series by laura ; every valid jump beating the old record by a long way . also i think her coach deserves credit for making sure she was there in canada to help guide her and for the pair to hit form at the perfect moment. i would hope there will be no external pressure for any changes...

considering where it is held the delay in results is as usual pathetic. just no excuse and happens every time . was only a light breeze and i cant give you any results as i did not write them down and i know how inaccuracy gets you into trouble on this site .

as it was loughborough should have been ok even with a wind gauge . i am fascinated is it just too much trouble just to set up a wind gauge ? the words drinking at a brewery come to mind . also takes days for the pigeon to get the results from these far flung meetings !

potential drug abuse , a coach with dubious background and you now expect honesty , think you are being a bit optimistic Geoff .
probably the coach in question isnt the sort to be honest but might be more inclined to more flights of fantasy usually with him in the role of hero rather than villain

at loughborough there was very little wind but lots of rain ; never in doubt the wind speeds would be legal ; unlike today the rain was persistant all the time i was there but at least the jump pit is protected which is more than can be said out in the open lol tuesday or today then windy and showers

i notice the standard in throws has been commentated on by many as being below par and that of course includes the chief coach . the commonest doubling up of events would appear to be the discus and shot and having looked at the points of 10 list names appear in common in both mens and womens events...
