Athletics Weekly from 1961

I was working with my uncle today and as we were going through the attic we come acorss around 15 issues of Athletics Weekly dating back from the year 1961. One of the first 60m races with year has resulted in a very very quick time by first year u17, Antonio Infantino, ran 7.14 at the Brunel Sprint GP the other day, a name to look out for :D

SIAB Indoor Multi Event Championship

I doubt many of the athletes on here are u17 or u15 but just to let ya all know there is a SIAB (Schools International Athletics Board) Indoor Multi Event Champs in Kelvin Hall in Glasgow on December 10th 05.

GB Prospects

I think there are many athletes that are London 2012 Material. Most noticable is Ashlee Nelson , only 14/15 and 5th in the Womans junior rankings.. 11.58 is electric. Also Emily Pidgeon is a teenage phenomenon and @ only 16 is a bright athlete for the future. The 1500/3k is a hottly contested event ...
