Child takes 400mH in 56.35, slightly slower than her time last year but this was her first hurdles of the season

Re: Doha DL

Interestingly, there has often been plenty of discussion about athletes changing events. Athletes who should move up a distance , or down a distance, or switch to hurdling , or try their hand at 'chasing etc etc. So why is Green a taboo subject for such conjecture? Bearing in mind that conjecture i...

The Big O - no doping reference, more her intimidating stature compared to some, and the way people (should) fear her chasing them down the home straight!

She ran 50.93 in the same race last year - so yes, as she used to open her 400s later in the season - and even then, not as fast :D

It is good to see that the four young throwers who have gone to the US for university have all thrown PB's already and sitting high up on thier ranking lists. In the case of our tWO javelin throwers - i thiNK THESE are theit fiirst PB's for over a year. It shows we have got talent in this country W...

Will she go on to be as good as Ennis and K J-T ?

She is much more developed than they were at that age - a lot will depend on her transition to the seniors

Re: Penn Relays

Just watched the race and TBO and PSD both made tactical errors that cost them time - but both looked very good

EC did a lot of her running late - if she can learn to pace lead off just a bit better, we have 3 very good legs

Re: Penn Relays

Fastest split was for Nigeria's Regina George - 49.5 I'm not sure these are our A teams TBH. The men's 4x1 certainly isn't, neither the 4x4 (who didn't finish anyway). While it is true that we ran pretty much our first choice W4x4, I think Jamaica did too. JAM's quartet was right up there. I think ...

Re: Penn Relays

http://pennrelaysonline.com/Results/schedule.aspx?s=UvW Teams are now up. Interesting neither Felix nor SRR will run the 4x400m. To be fair, it's what I would do - use this as an opportunity to see others who aren't already locks for the team, like UKA are doing with Margaret Adeoye. Oh wait... :ro...

Re: Penn Relays

As I posted above there was a 44.07 time run by some girls on the 20th, not sure who ran. I'm not sure there is as much choice as you imply, as don't there have to be three international teams running to get a WC qualifier? Also aren't the Anniversary Games in time to qualify as well? (not that I'm...

From AW article: Following the team announcement on Wednesday, UKA advised AW that they would have liked to have entered a women’s 4x100m team, but that Penn Relays did not invite Great Britain to enter one. But they invited CAN who ran 44.64 last year There have been plenty of relay meets on over ...

Re: Outdoor Results 2013

Sebastian Rogers has rocketed to the top of the British 400mh rankings with a solid 50.55secs opener, just 0.05 off his PB, should bode well fpr the season ahead. Re: Penn Relays

Is there any point to composite teams such as the Carib select team or the GB girls running with the US or Jam girls? Doesn't really help anyone or nation? I agree with your take, Geoff

To answer your question - I would hope that a retrospective life ban is put in place - we will surely find out very soon, as a few of those getting caught will be second timers, no doubt
