52.26 outdoor PB for Pipi in the states. Hopefully could get down to the low or mid 51s if the NCAA season doesn’t take too much out of her (which it did last year for the trials when she did the 200m).

    Yep, was (+2.5)

Edmond Amaning 20.43 (1.3) PB and Euro Qualifier (though it was in Clermont like MHS).

Tim Duckworth has Long Jumped 8.19m in Tennessee but there is no wind reading with the result. Still impressive for a decathlete.

Great run by Max Burgin at the BMC in the 800m in Manchester. The clock didn’t stop but looked like a time in the 1:47s which would break Sean Molloy’s U17 record of 1:48.24. He also won the race – which was the A race.

He is still only 15 – he is 16 next week!

    Time given at 1:47.50!

Quality from Prescod 10.04 (-0.5) SB in less than great conditions. Beating some quality athletes as well. Let’s hope this is the start of something special as he clearly has the talent.

10.08 (0.5) also for Ujah. Race won by Ronnie Baker in 9.97

10.08 (2.0) just on the legal wind limit for NMB in the US.

Ujah and Seb Rodger due to run at Mt Sac today too. Jodie Williams was due to run too but can’t see her on the start lists.

Great performance by Josh, which also broke the NCAA record. James West also ran a PB in that race of 3:37.41 which is under the Euro Champs Qualifier.

Apologies, it turns out it was 71.41 and not 76.41! Still a solid throw but not as exciting as the alternative!

Followed by Sophie Hitchon 76.41m NR and WL!

Great early season form which should comfortably win them the Gold in Oz. Hopefully they can continue it for the much greater challenges at the Euros.

New British Hammer Record for Nick Miller in Stanford 78.29m WL.

Great start to the season and he was already the big favourite for the Com Games.

It was on the outside and didn’t really impede the Germans but I wasn’t sure of the rules. Hope you’re right!

Pretty concerned they might lose that medal. Daryl’s foot touched the outside white line in one of the replays.

Seb Rodger is way down the lists so it is not a surprise. Andy Vernon can’t be invited as the rules state no invites at 5000m or 10000m.

Chris Baker’s twitter may show his frustration at not being picked or at not knowing! Hopefully it is the latter though I am personally more excited about Tom Gale potentially getting picked as Chris has not had…[Read more]

Edoburun did set off early at the World Relays and was the cause of the DNF. Possible that they are worried he might make a similar error under even more pressure at a home WC.

Can definitely see him being a very successful anchor for us in the future as he matures.

Definitely a waiting game – suddenly Alicia Barrett is top of the list in the group waiting to move up into a place. Would need 2 or 3 more to drop out (not be selected). I am guessing it might be another day or so before we know for sure.
