Gabby Logan won’t be presenting the British Champs this year as I’m sure you’re all pleased to hear. Radzi Chinyanganya will be fronting it instead.

I am right to assume that Dina, Rooney and Rutherford already have wildcard spots confirmed due to being the reigning champions? I remember reading that from 2016 onwards the champs would follow the same rules as the world champs i.e. a country with a reigning champ can send 4 athletes (including the European Champ)

They are the same person I’m pretty sure. Phillipo joined the forum almost immediately after Jeremy was banned, and their posting styles are exactly the same.

Good spot, I didn’t clock the Albanian’s run.

I agree Rosie definitely has the potential to be running fast times and perhaps breaking the British record? She’s still fairly young (or at least looks it anyway!)

In the Bydgoszcz Cup Anyika Onuora ran a 52.25 SB, the only GB Euro qualifier of the day along with a sub-46 run from Rabah Yousif, although not a SB for him

3:59.30 for Laura Muir who takes 2nd place. I’d say she definitely would’ve won that had she not been boxed in on the last lap. Good to see her being able to focus on running now that she’s graudated.

    11.06 (+1.9) for Dina in the 100m.

Wind was illegal (+2.4) but Prescod ran 9.88. Definitely the biggest male sprint prospect we have at the moment

Some good news about Perri Shakes Drayton, she ran 52.00 today in Belgium which is her fastest time since her injury 5 years ago. Laviai Nielsen also ran 52.49 which is her fastest time outdoors since 2016

Alex Bell 1:59:53 PB in the 800m and Seb Rodger 49.74 in the 400h

Also 6.66m for Jazmin Sawyers, good to see her back to her usual self

Could we be three GB athletes at the Euros if Lane or Gregory can get the standard too, since 7850 is a score within their capabilities. Maybe they’ll achieve it at the Commonwealths.

BA seem to have settled for more achievable standards this year. Trials could be very interesting this year!

Is this his last year in the collegiate system?

Although after throwing 54.60m he passed on his next two attempts so you may be right. Seems a bit odd after setting multiple PBs yesterday.

He could run a 5.25 in this final 1500m and it would still see him finish with an 8100 score.

No one managed to get higher than 4.67m bar one athlete… perhaps the conditions are not ideal?
