Athletics Weekly’s new digital provider

As of the June 7, 2012 issue of Athletics Weekly, our digital editions will be delivered by Pocketmags for Apple, Android, PC and Mac and Kindle Fire.

This move is designed to improve your digital reading experience, particularly in the ever-growing mobile and tablet market and to enable us to increase our offering to you to include, back issues of our British Olympic Legends series and our AW Greatest series of bookazines, including the recently released London 2012 Olympic Games preview volume, The Greatest Show on Earth.

Print & digital subscribers via AW or our subscriptions house Warners or digital only via Exact Editions online

Your AW issues will continue to be available via Exact Editions as well as Pocketmags until July 31, 2012 to allow you time to move across to Pocketmags at your own leisure.

Please note, back issues will not be transferred across, however they will remain downloadable as PDF files on Exact Editions until July 31, 2012, so please feel free to download as many as you wish via the Exact Editions site. Going forward, back issues will require purchase, either as single issues or in bundles.

You will shortly receive an email advising you of your temporary account details for Pocketmags to retrieve your subscription in the new app. As a thank you for your on-going custom, we have extended all transferred subscriptions by four weeks within your Pocketmags account.

Please note you will now be able to access your subscription on all of the following platforms simply by logging in on the suitable platform with your Pocketmags account details: iPad & iPhone, Android, Kindle Fire, PC and Mac (and shortly Blackberry Playbook).

Digital only subscribers via Exact Editions or Apple Newsstand

You will have the option to remain as you are until such time as your current subscription runs out, or if you wish you can transfer across to Pocketmags at any point. When you launch the new Apple Newstand app on your iPad or iPhone your subscription credits will be present for forthcoming issues. In addition your subscription has been extended by four weeks within the Pocketmags app.

If you wish to read your purchases on other devices, you are able to register a pocketmags account by clicking login/register in the top right hand corner and creating a new account. Once you have done so you will be able to read your AW subscription on any other compatible platform.

Where to find the app

If you are an iPad or iPhone user, please click here and download our free app. Once you have downloaded the new Apple Newsstand app if you have received an email with your Pocketmags temporary account details please click the login button in the top right of the new Apple Newsstand app homepage and login with the details with which you have been supplied. Your issues and credits will then be linked to your app.

If you are a digital only subscriber via Apple Newsstand your issues and credits should be available in the new Apple Newsstand app when you launch the new app. To check your remaining credits, click the subscriptions button. To view your issues, click the library tab (second tab at the top).

If you are a PC or Mac user then please click here and enter your Pocketmags username and password as provided by email in the login boxes. Then click My Library and click on the cover of the issue you wish to read.

You are also able to read your purchases on Android by downloading the AW app and logging in to it with your Pocketmags account.

Kindle Fire users can also read AW via the Pocketmags Newsstand app which can be found here.

I haven’t received a temporary pocketmags account or my credits aren’t present in my new app
